






Synopsis
This play is a new piece of student writing, from an Exeter student, set in the woods and fields of the Cotswolds in the 1980s. Roald, Caragh and George are mismatched and reclusive, on the cusp of becoming teenagers and still reluctant to grow up. Their free time is absorbed by the "games"; acts of role playing and imagination that they bring to life around the ruins of an old abbey and its crumbling well. However, this hermetic environment is shattered when a eloquent, yet seemingly mad tramp intrudes upon the games of the children, and seems to take on elements of the stories themselves.
